Yesterday I had to make a trip to the ER because I had something in my eye and could not get it out...
Turns out it was a piece of metal and it was beginning to rust. While at the ER they tried to remove it but ended up being unsuccessful and today I had to see a specialist. The eye Doc used a drill (no joke) to remove the piece of metal from my eye and then had to remove some of the tissue around the sliver because it was filled with rust.
I have broken many bones (28) but this is by far te most painfull injury I have ever had. Your eye is not meant to have things in it and when it does it lets you know it HATES it.
But in other news.
The world cup in Vail came and went and I would say it was really cool to watch. I will say that I was surprised to see such a MASSIVE route setting mistake made on the Women's 2.
Let me know if you see it,
but all and all I think it was a fantastic show. I think Men's four was almost perfect.
I also have decided to head back to the souf this winter.. I am very excited and will fill you in later. Here are some photos that my friends Keith L, and Dan L took.
I leave for Colorado for the weekend on Friday I am really syked to get back on rock.. I also leave for 15 DAYS, I CAN NOT TELL YOU HOW MOBED UP I AM.
