Cammo Pad

The Cammo pad.

Chris Hirsch and I began to climb together a lot more after Brian left and Jim stopped climbing. We had a good "competitive" friendship that made us both a lot stronger. We decided to take a trip to Colorado for some bouldering it would be my 2nd trip out there and I was syked. On the way I told Josh I needed a new pad and he cooked up this bad boy.

The ALPINE Pad.

a thinner pad design, about 2" thinner than its counterpart and the first pad I got with a hip belt..

This is the pad I have used the most, probably because I am lazy..

This pad is also been under more hard boulders than I can think of.. It was under this pad that I climbed v11 and v12 (depending on who you talk to.).

This thing is still in working order except the hip strap buckles broke and the velcro does not work so well.

I still use it too this day and is awesome because of its size and weight.

Dogg, I think you are forgetting the 1.5 years (2005-late 2006) that you and I climbed together almost every weekend. I almost quit climbing because I was so broke but you made me go to sawmill and swedes a bunch. I'm a bit hurt, bro.
