Cabin Boulder. BOOTAG!

Last Friday Scott and I headed up to the Cabin boulder, we decided on a 1 day push to the boulder and back. I am not going to give a ton of details but it was only 1.75h more than driving to Sawmill and back in a day.

The reason or the trip was to refresh myself with the projects that lye on this big boulder and look at a few other areas.

This is the mega line, best rock in the Midwest and could be anywhere from v13,v15.

I call it Minneswiss.

On Thursday I am headed to Vail to complete my Level 3 internship for USA climbing. I am not in the greatest shape but I am hoping it goes well. More on that later.

I also hung out with my BEST BRO Brian Camp.. CHORVAT WAS DER TO.. we got crunk on margaritas and I puked all the next day. It was awesome!



Last week I attended the CWA in Boulder, Colorado. It was a great time. I tried to climb but had some serious skin problems, like my hands had melted... was not good. I did do a few problems in the v7-v9 range so that was cool. The highlight of the week was when Kelly, Jeff, Flann, Jamie, Steph, and I all decided to join Dave, jon, and a whole other crew in Denver at a club called BETA. It was a blast! We all danced and I showed everyone my jump out of my shoes trick! It was the day before the end of the show and I was out till 3am.. not a great idea but others got it much worse. Jamie Emerson and I both had to be at the show at 9am, Jamie had to be apart of a round table on climbing gyms and I had to stand a the Nicros booth. Here is what the night looked like.

On a completely different subject,
This guy... is homeless? WTF?

I have a big heart. I like to help people when I can. I hate people like this guy. He was sitting on the corner with a book, in a nice chair enjoying the day... BUT HAD A DANG SIGN THAT SAID HOMELESS PLEASE HELP. I pointed out his flaws on the drawing so take a look.. he also never engaged the cars as they drove by.. just sat there reading. Boulder homeless are a different breed. Not at all like LA or MN. Maybe it is all the free Wholefoods samples???
